1:12 pm on 27 December 2013

The Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson has further crippled England's first innings, taking three wickets early on the second day of the fourth Ashes cricket in Melbourne.

In his first over of the day he took two wickets, removing Tim Bresnan, who added nothing to his score of one overnight, and the key wicket of Kevin Pietersen.

Pietersen bowled for 71.

Then Johnson trapped Stuart Broad in front for 11.

England resumed on 226-6.
