The batsman Jesse Ryder has hit another Plunket Shield century for Otago as he continues his build up to a return to the national side on Boxing day.
Ryder has been named in the New Zealand one day squad to play the West Indies after an almost two year absence from the Black Caps.
Ryder's 119 off 167 balls is his third century for the Volts this season.
He took three wickets for 32 runs off 11 overs to help dismiss Central Districts in their first innings for 255.
At stumps on day three, Otago were 371 for eight.
