The All Blacks remain in high demand and a Test in North America is getting closer.
NZRU chief executive Steve Tew says he had enquires from a dozen nations this year hoping to attract the All Blacks.
Next year's schedule is all but finalised with Tew hoping to get a game on the east coast of North America on their way to Europe at the end of the year.
He says the USA are potential opponents, but any opposition will have to secure the release of players from their clubs as the match would fall outside the official Test window.
