8:51 am on 29 November 2013

The Northern Districts cricketers have cruised to a massive victory over Central Districts with seven wickets and a whole day to spare, in their four-day Plunket Shield match in Hamilton.

Following on after Wednesday's disastrous 89 all out, Central were bowled out for 296 after tea in their second innings, and Northern cantered home before stumps, getting the 99 runs required as they reached 99 for three.

The Auckland Aces will have all their returning Black Caps available on Friday night when they face the Wellington Firebirds on the Eden Park main oval in a Twenty20 match.

Kyle Mills, Colin Munro and Mitchell McClenaghan will join a 12 that already includes overseas professional Luke Wright and Black Caps Martin Guptill and Bruce Martin.
