Serb media roast Czech Davis Cup winner

The Serbian media have criticised Radek Stepanek after the veteran led his Czech tennis team to a second straight Davis Cup title at the weekend, beating Serbia 3-2.

Stepanek copped some criticism after he ventured an opinion on the doubles rubber, won by himself and team-mate Tomas Berdych in what proved to be a decisive turn in the final.

Stepanek said that not playing Novak Djokovic with Nenad Zimonjic in the doubles was like Serbia "leaving their Ferrari in the garage".

Serbian journalists also made much of what is widely regarded as the punishment of Viktor Troicki, who is under suspension until next July for missing a blood test.
