There were a number of upsets on the opening day of the World Junior Women's Hockey Championships in Boston, including New Zealand's 3-1 victory over the Netherlands.
The Dutch opened the scoring, but New Zealand were level at half time through a Cathryn Finlayson goal... Katie Glynn then scored twice in the second half for the victory.
India beat tournament favourites Australia 3-2 in one of the other opening day games.
New Zealand's next match is against Spain tomorrow... they were beaten 3-nil by China in their opening match.
