Sonny Bill Williams has been added to the Kiwis squad for the Rugby League World Cup after reconsidering his availability for the tournament.
Williams had initially told the coach, Stephen Kearney, he was unavailable for the tournament and was not named in the 24-man squad yesterday.
However he changed his mind, informing Kearney he'd like to be considered for the side.
The World Cup squads are limited at 24, so Williams has replaced the Melbourne rookie, Tohu Harris in the squad.
Kearney says it was a tough decision, but they couldn't ignore Williams' abilities on and off the field.
