Hawke's Bay has beaten Southland 23-15 in their provincial rugby championship match in Invercargil.
Both sides scored 2 tries each, but the homeside made too many mistakes to put any pressure on the Bay.
The Bay are second in the Championship standings and Southland 3rd.
