Top of the table Wellington remains the only undefeated team in provincial rugby after beating Canterbury 25-19 in the capital.
Canterbury scored just after the first half siren to lead 16-15 at the break, and looked to be gaining the ascendancy early inthe second half when Ardie Savea was sent to the sin bin.
But the yellow card seemed to galvanise the hosts who quickly captured the lead with a try to Tomasi Palu.
Wellington have now won all seven of their games this season while Canterbury has won five from six and sits third on the table behind Auckland.
