Rooney rediscovers form under Moyes

The Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney says new manager David Moyes' intense training sessions have helped him rediscover his touch on the football pitch.

Rooney missed almost of all United's pre-season campaign through injury and was then ruled out of the 1-nil loss to Liverpool through injury.

However, he's looked sharp since returning scoring two goals and notching his 200th for United, in their 4-2 Champions League win over Bayer Leverkusen earlier this week.

Having been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea during the off-season, the 27-year-old England forward says he is now focusing on playing as well as possible.

Rooney came to prominence under Moyes as a teenager at former club Everton and says he's happy to have been reunited with the Scot at Old Trafford.
