China's world champion hurdler Liu Xiang has just started training in spikes again after an Achilles injury destroyed his Beijing Olympic dream 12 months.
The 2004 Athens Olympic champion and former world record holder had an operation on the injury in the U.S. last December and Chinese fans have anxiously been awaiting the return of their favourite athlete.
