The women's US tennis Open final will be a replay of last year's, with defending champ Serena Williams meeting second seed Victoria Azarenka in Monday's title match in New York.
Williams had few problems with China's Li Na in their semi this morning, winning 6-love 6-3 while the Belarusian Azarenka beat unseeded Italian Flavia Pennetta in the other semi, also in straight sets, 6-4 6-2.
The American world number one holds a 12-3 head to head advantage over Azarenka, but the second seed has won two out of three of their clashes this year.
