World champions Red Bull have chosen Daniel Ricciardo to replace Mark Webber in the Formula One team next season.

The 24-year-old Australian, who has driven for Red Bull junior team Toro Rosso for the last two seasons, will partner triple world champion Sebastian Vettel.

Red Bull chose Ricciardo over former world champion Kimi Raikkonen.

Team principal Christian Horner says Ricciardo is "very talented, committed, has great attitude and in the end it was a very logical choice.
