Sprinboks to make changes in order to end Brisbane losing streak

South Africa will make a number of changes to their team as they aim to end a horrendous losing record at the Australia's most successful venue, Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

The Springboks have never won in seven Tests at the former Lang Park, including six since the inception of the Tri Nations competition in 1996.

Coach Heyneke Meyer shrugged off the dismal record on Monday but admitted he needed to freshen up his starting team to cope with a taxing travel schedule which has them flying from Argentina to South Africa to Australia to New Zealand.

The Springboks have come off back-to-back wins over Argentina but were forced to fight all the way in their 22-17 win in Mendoza eight days ago.

The South Africans expect Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie to bring Quade Cooper in to start at first five-eighth instead of Matt Toomua.
