New Zealand has finished eighth in the team cross country relay at the World Mountainbike Championships in South Africa.
Anton Cooper, Dirk Peters, Karen Hanlen and Samuel Gaze finished almost six minutes behind the winners, Italy.
The Championships continue for the rest of the week.
