The Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic have signed the new Silver Ferns midcourter, Courtney Tairi, for next year's trans-Tasman netball season.
Tairi was named in the New Zealand to play Australia in the Constellation Cup series next month.
She will move to the Magic from the Southern Steel and will help fill the gap left by the former captain, Laura Langman, who's signed with the Northern Mystics.
The Magic have also re-signed the shooter, Ellen Halpenny, who's set to partner her former Tactix team-mate, Jo Harten, in the shooting circle.
