Tom Taylor out for 3 weeks

The All Blacks have more injury problems at first-five, but coach Steve Hansen is hoping the week off will help them overcome the issue.

Debutant Tom Taylor suffered a rib injury in last night's 27-16 victory over Australia in Wellington and will out out of action for three weeks.

However, Hansen says Dan Carter and Beauden Barrett are on track to return for their next match against Argentina in Hamilton in a fortnight.

Prop Owen Franks has a sore groin and Hansen says they may take an extra player to Hamilton as cover.

Liam Meesam is also progressing from a hamstring injury and Hansen says he may be considered for the next match.

A number of All Blacks will be released to play for their provinces this week, including TJ Perenara, Jeremy Thrush, Francis Saili, Colin Slade, Luke Whitelock, Frank Halai, Keven Mealamu, Charles Piutau, Sam Cane and Ben Franks.
