It's been revealed that no positive doping tests were taken during July's Tour de France.
The Director of Cycling's Anti-Doping Foundation Francesca Rossi stopped short of claiming the Tour had been clean, but she said 622 blood and urine samples were taken during the last edition of the world's biggest and most popular bicycle race, with no adverse analytical findings.
Rossi said they adopted an unpredictable strategy this year, and they tested the winner Chris Froome a lot.
Froome had been subjected to intense media scrutiny regarding the validity of his at times phenomenal performances.
