Tigers stick with Marshall

Wests Tigers rugby league coach Mick Potter has ignored calls to drop rugby-bound Benji Marshall, who's been retained as playmaker for Saturday's NRL match against St George Illawarra.

Marshall has been on the outer and out of form at Wests since signing a deal with Super Rugby side the Auckland Blues earlier this month, and leading commentators think the club should be grooming youngster Luke Brooks.

Meanwhile, the Canterbury Bulldogs have named an unchanged side for their blockbuster clash with South Sydney at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.

And the injury-plagued Warrior's winger Jerome Ropati has been selected for their away match on the Gold Coast, his first game for more than three months.
