The New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson has signed a short-term contract with the English County Cricket side Yorkshire.
Williamson will provide cover for Gary Ballance, who has been named in the England Lions squad.
Williamson will be available for the match against Nottinghamshire next week and will play the last 5 matches of the division one championship which Yorkshire currently lead.
Williamson played for Gloucestershire as an overseas player in 2011 and 2012.
