Tua fight postponed because of injury

The New Zealand boxer David Tua's heavyweight bout against Belarusian Alexander Ustinov has been postponed until November.

Tua picked up a calf muscle injury last week which has forced a delay to the fight originally scheduled for the end of the month.

The fight will now be held in Hamilton on Saturday November 16th.

It was hoped that any delay would be just a few weeks, however organisers Duco Events say avoiding clashing with other significant sports events and venue availability meant they had to push the bout further back.

Ustinov will leave the country and return for the mid-November showdown.
