Hooker Danes Coles and halfback TJ Perenara have been released from the All Blacks to play for Wellington in their ITM Cup opener against Counties-Manukau on Thursday night.
Lock Jeremy Thrush, who is a part of the All Blacks wider training squad, will also play in Pukekohe.
The three will not be a part of the All Blacks squad travelling to Sydney on Thursday for the first Rugby Championship match.
John Schwalger will make his first start since returning to New Zealand and Jeffery Toomaga-Allen has recovered from his knee injury suffered during the Super Rugby season to round out the front row with Coles.
