Benji not bothered by Blues jersey fuss

6:47 pm on 13 August 2013

Departing Wests Tigers league star Benji Marshall has refused to apologise for appearing in a Blues jumper in an online video, as he announced his impending code switch - and despite being under contract with the Tigers until the end of the season.

But the former Kiwis captain insists the stunt was done at the request of the Super Rugby franchise, and Marshall's not fussed that the incident attracted condemnation from fans and club officials.

Marshall says as the Tigers aren't in playoff contention, there's nothing wrong with his actions as his next employers wanted to do it.

And Marshall insists the relationship between himself and Tigers coach Michael Potter is great.
