Dumped Australian cricket coach resumes job hunt

The dumped Australian cricket coach Mickey Arthur has revealed he's already in talks about his next career move, but says he and his family are keen to stay in Perth.

Arthur threatened to sue Cricket Australia after being offered a sub-standard payout following his axing as national coach on the eve of the Ashes series.

South Africa's former coach was seeking his job back or $4 million in compensation, but a costly legal showdown was avoided when the two parties reached an out-of-court settlement earlier this week.

Arthur wouldn't go into detail about his future job prospects, but hinted it didn't necessarily have to be associated with cricket.
