Fastest man insists he's clean

2:57 pm on 27 July 2013

The six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt insists he's a clean athlete and fans can trust him despite recent failed drugs test by the Jamaican's sprint rivals Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay.

Bolt told a news conference in London he was a given a gift and made to inspire people, and he's not going to stress out.

The Olympic champion refuses to condemn either of his rivals, but he's spoken to Asfa Powell and told him to stay strong.

Bolt has never failed a drugs test and most observers of athletics agree it would be a potentially terminal disaster for the sport if he did test positive for a banned substance.
