The glamour Spanish football club Barcelona has appointed a new manager, Argentine Gerardo Martino, on a two-year contract.
The 50-year-old has had a successful term in his homeland with Newells Old Boys, Lionel Messi's home club, but he has just three weeks to acclimatise to his new surroundings before the start of the Spanish league next month.
Martino replaces Tito Vilanova, who stepped down only last week to focus on his battle with cancer.
