Auckland amateur golf star Lydia Ko has climbed into a top-10 finish on the latest LPGA ladies' Tour event, the Marathon Classic in Ohio.
Ko fired a three under par 68 final round to tie for seventh place on nine under overall, eight shots behind the winner, Spain's Beatriz Recari.
As the world amateur number one, Ko misses out on a pay cheque of almost $40,000.
