The New South Wales Swifts goal attack Susan Pratley and the Queensland Firebirds midcourter Chelsea Pitman are the most notable omissions in a 17-strong Australian netball squad named for a five test series against New Zealand beginning in September.
Netball Australia has yet to announce who will captain the side following centre Natalie von Bertouch's announcement that she's retiring.
