Pellegrini aims to bring style and trophies to Man City

Manchester City's new manager Manuel Pellegrini is promising a more attacking brand of football at the English giants.

Speaking at his first news conference since taking over from Italian Roberto Mancini, the Chilean pointed to his experience of outfoxing local rivals Manchester United, as he pledged to win trophies with City.

Pellegrini, known as 'The Engineer', says he's sure his new club will play an attractive game, and will always try to play in the opposite side of the pitch, trying to be an attacking team.

Pellegrini says he aims to improve City's poor Champions League record but reclaiming the Premier League title they won in 2012 or FA Cup they lifted in 2011 is just as important.
