The New Zealand Junior Men's hockey team has beaten Singapore 3-1 in their latest match at the World Cup in Singapore.
The New Zealanders led 1-nil at half time... captain Simon Child scored twice while the others went to Ricky Clark and Arun Panchia.
They now have 2 wins and a draw and are second in their pool behind the unbeaten Dutch.
The top two teams from each of the four pools will go through to the play-offs.
New Zealand will meet the Netherlands tonight and will possibly need a point out of that game to confirm their place in the next round ahead of India.
