The Russian tennis player Svetlana Kuznetsova has beaten world number one and compatriot Dinara Safina 6-4 6-3 to win the Stuttgart WTA tournament.
The fifth-seeded Kuznetsova needed just an hour and 19 minutes to claim the winner's prize and a Porsche sports car.
Having beaten Olympic champion Elena Dementieva in the semi-final, Kuznetsova finally broke her losing streak having lost the last six finals she reached on the WTA tour.
