Taylor and Oram look good to play

The New Zealand cricket camp is expecting some good news over two of their injury worries - Ross Taylor and Jacob Oram ahead of the series against India.

Taylor suffered a hamstring injury during the Chappell-Hadlee Series in Australia while a spate of injuries in the recent past have kept Oram out.

Both players have been picked in the Twenty20 squad to play India starting in Christchurch tomorrow night and are feeling good, but Oram is not likely to bowl before the one day series and Taylor will undergo a final fitness test before the first match.

New Zealand coach Andy Moles is confident that Oram will be bowling very soon, adding he's one of the top allrounders in the world, especially in the shorter forms of the game.

Jessie Ryder, who is also returning to action after injury will open the innings with Brendan McCullum.
