Pakistan have suggested Australia play a Test series against them next year in England if they continue to refuse to tour the troubled country.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ijaz Butt proposed the idea at the same time as he announced a five-match one-day series between the two countries in the Middle East later this year.
Australia postponed their full Test and one-day tour of Pakistan in March last year citing security concerns.
