Porn interrupts Super Bowl

A cable television provider has apologised to customers in Arizona after airing a 30-second porn clip during the Super Bowl.

Philadelphia-based Comcast issued a brief statement saying the company was mortified by the interruption.

Comcast's vice president for communications Jennifer Khoury says the company's initial investigation suggests the interruption was an isolated malicious act.

Comcast says only customers in the Tucson area receiving the standard definition feed were affected.
