Hamburg SV has beaten German football champions Bayern Munich 1-0 in the first game after the six-week holiday break to go top of the Bundesliga.
Hosts Hamburg grabbed the winner a minute before halftime when Mladen Petric headed the ball over keeper Michael Rensing.
Hamburg have 36 points and Bayern are third on 35.
