Manchester City have completed the signing of England left back Wayne Bridge from Chelsea for an undisclosed fee.
The English Premiership football clubs agreed terms for the 28-year-old before Bridge put pen to paper on a four and a half year contract to become City's first signing of the January transfer window.
Bridge, who has 32 England caps, joined Chelsea from Southampton for $20 million in 2003 but struggled to hold down a regular first-team place after the arrival of Ashley Cole from Arsenal in 2006.
