Federer says he can survive Wimbledon draw

Roger Federer insists he is capable of surviving a nightmare draw at Wimbledon as the defending champion prepares to launch his bid for a record eighth title at the All England Club.

Federer is in the unusual position this year of being regarded as the least likely of the big four to win the title.

He will need to beat Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic to pass Pete Sampras as the most decorated Wimbledon men's champion.

31 year old Federer says he's ready for the challenge, and he's labelled Murray as the most likely champion from his three main rivals.
