The North Queensland Cowboys have ended a run of five straight defeats in National Rugby League with a 22-16 victory over the St George Illawarra Dragons in Wolllongong.
The Canterbury Bulldogs also won away in last night's other match beating the Manly Sea Eagles 32-30 in a thrilling 32-30 golden-point win in Sydney.
The Cowboys' much-needed two points propels them up to 10th, while the Bulldogs climb to sixth for now.
