The Central Pulse remain in the play-off mix in the trans-Tasman netball competition after scoring a 63-48 win over the Northern Mystics in Porirua.
A disciplined performance from the Pulse resulted in their first win over the Mystics in 12 encounters and reversed the one-goal extra time loss to the Northerners a month ago.
It also put them just two points off fourth spot on the championship ladder in what is shaping up to be their best season on record.
Led by defenders Katrina Grant, Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit and Joline Henry the Pulse took control. Up by three at quarter-time, seven at half-time, nine at 3-quarter time and then winning by 15.
