New Zealand Olympic golden girl Lisa Carrington stamped her mark on her favoured kayaking event the K1 200m at the first of the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup Events being held in Hungary.
She won both her heat and semi-final races convincingly, producing the fastest time of the day and up there with her Olympic best time in London.
The performance of the newly-formed K2 pairing Teneale Hatton and Rachael Dodwell is also showing a lot of promise.
The pair finished fourth in the A final of the K2 500m missing the podium by 1.3 seconds.
