The All Black Richard Kahui has suffered yet another shoulder injury.
The Chiefs midfielder missed last weekend's match against the South African side the Sharks with a hamstring strain but hurt his shoulder at training recently.
Kahui's had a series of shoulder operations during his career only returned to Super Rugby in March after a 10-month rehabilitation.
The Chiefs coach Dave Rennie says they're unsure of the extent of the latest injury, with Kahui due to see a specialist next week.
In February Kahui announced he'd signed a two-year deal with Japanese club Toshiba and is due to leave New Zealand after the Super Rugby competition.
