The former world tennis number two Vera Zvonareva has withdrawn from the ASB Classic due to injury.
The Russian, who was given a wildcard, has withdrawn from both the ASB Classic and the Australian Open because of ongoing problems with a shoulder injury.
The 2003 and 2004 winner Elena Daniilidou also gets a wildcard, and there's still one wildcard remaining for another player.
