Campbell set to tee off in Hong Kong

Wellington golfer Michael Campbell will be intent on bouncing back from a missed cut at last week's Singapore Open when he tees off later today at the Hong Kong Open, which will probably be his last European Tour event of the year.

After a remarkable return to form in the latter part of this year, Campbell's 83rd on the European money list, and if he happened to finish first or second in Hong Kong, he could move into the top 60 on the money list and qualify for the $9.8 million European Tour Championship in Dubai at the end of this month.

The field in Hong Kong is headed by the world number one and defending champion Rory McIlroy, Ireland's Padraig Harrington and Scotland's Ryder Cup winner Paul Lawrie.
