The Auckland Aces have made a successful start at the Twenty20 Champions league in South Africa, chalking up the first win by a NZ team in the event.

On the opening day of the 14-team tournament in Johannesburg, Auckland did well to restrict Pakistan's Sialkot Stallions to 130 for 9, and the Aces reached their target with 6 wickets and 17 balls to spare.

Man of the match was the Black Caps pace bowler Kyle Mills who returned the sensational figures of two wickets for 6 runs from his 4 overs.
