The Wellington Phoenix completed their pre-season with a 7-1 rout of Young Heart Manawatu in Palmerston North yesterday with striker Jeremy Brockie netting a first half hat trick.
Brockie's hat trick takes his pre-season goal tally to a remarkable 18.
Teenager Louis Fenton, who had an outstanding 45 minutes before being rested in the second half, scored his team's second goal in the 12th minute, while Stein Huysegems netted his first Phoenix goal right on half time.
Panamanian Ricardo Clarke pciked up a brace to wrap up the game following a wonder goal from Manawatu youngster Hamish Watson.
