The swimmer Sophie Pascoe was one of New Zealand's success stories at the Paralympics in London, which have just wrapped up, and she says she feels she's surpassed her performances at the Beijing Games four years ago.
The winner of three gold medals and three silvers, Pascoe anchored the swim team which contributed 12 of the overall NZ team's 17 medals in London, and she says she did everything she could and left it all in the pool - winning one medal more than her five-medal haul in Beijing four years ago.
The 19-year-old won the 100 metres freestyle, 100 metres butterfly and the 200 metres individual medley, with silvers in the 50 metres freestyle, 100 metres breast stroke and the 50 metres backstroke in London.
Pascoe says she hopes to have a couple of months off before planning for the Rio Paralympics in 2016.
