The All Whites captain Ryan Nelsen has made his first start for his new English club Queens Park Rangers, helping the Premiership side to a 3-0 win over Walsall in the League Cup.
It is QPR's first win of the season and a morale boost with a Premiership match at champions Manchester City this weekend.
