The Northern Ireland golfer Rory McIlroy has won the PGA Championship after finishing 13 under par for the tournament, eight shots ahead of second placed Briton David Lynn, at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina.
His winning margin bettered the previous best by Jack Nicklaus at the 1980 PGA Championship.
The win means McIIroy who's currently ranked third in the world will regain the number one world ranking.
McIIroy's first major title was last years US Open.
