Chiefs win Super Rugby final

The Chiefs have won their first ever Super Rugby title beating the Sharks in Hamilton, 37-6.

The Chiefs dominated territory and posession to score four converted tries.

Tim Nannai-Williams crossed the line in the first half with Kane Thompson, Lelia Masaga and Sonny Bill Williams crossing in the second.

Aaron Cruden kicked four conversions and three penalties.

The Sharks' two penalties came from the boot of former French international Frederic Michalak.

Despite defending well the Sharks kicked away most of their posession.

The half time score was 13-3.

A sell out crowd of just over 25 thousand filled Waikato Stadium to see the Chiefs presented with the trophy, which will be followed by a street parade in Hamilton on Monday.
