Mannering to miss Warriors match against Cronulla

The Warriors captain Simon Mannering has been ruled out of Sunday's National Rugby League match against Cronulla, as he's still recovering from an ankle injury which kept him out of last weekend's loss to Manly.

Winger Manu Vatuvei, who's on the verge of becoming the first player to score 100 tries for the club, will again captain the side.

The match will be hooker Nathan Friend's 150th NRL in a career that's included stints at Brisbane, Melbourne and Gold Coast.

At the other end of the scale Carlos Tuimavave is set to make his first grade debut for the club having been named on the inter-change bench.

He'll be the third member of the family to play for the Warriors following his uncle Tony and cousin Evarn.
